What I Learned Today
I missed a few days while I was redesigning. I learned a whole lot about Jekyll in the process, mainly about its limitations.
acts_as_paranoidis dead, butis_paranoidfills its shoes. There's a good article about how it was implemented with named scopes that's worth reading.- I saw Matt Henry mention this article on how to set up Ubuntu as a development virtual machine on OS X. I've done this before, but I've never seen a headless version that can run in the background. I'm excited to try this.
